Ms. Janelle Baugh is a clinical instructor and lecturer for the School of Nursing. She currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in community health, pediatrics, and advanced physical assessment.
Ms. Baugh is an ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with various experiences in emergency medicine, pediatrics, maternal-child, and family practice. Her graduate research focused on endocrine disorders in women, namely Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.
Ms. Baugh is currently working on her post-masters certificate of nursing education and will be starting a doctorate program in the near future.
Ms. Baugh is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Nevada Nurses Association. Within the School of Nursing she currently serves on SON Faculty Affairs Committee and the new Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner (DNP) task force in hopes of offering higher education and opportunities to current nurse practitioners.
