Ms. Mary Jo Russo is a clinical instructor and lecturer for the School of Nursing. She currently teaches undergraduate courses in Fundamentals of Nursing (clinical) and Nursing Care of Older Populations (clinical). In addition, she serves as a faculty advisor to undergraduate BSN students. 

Ms. Russo’s clinical expertise includes medical surgical nursing, cardiovascular nursing, public health nursing, and nursing leadership.

In addition to her teaching role, Ms. Russo serves on the School of Nursing Faculty Affairs Council. She is a member of the National League of Nursing, American Nurses Association, Nevada Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing-Omicron Delta Chapter.
