Welcome to the BSN program at UNLV School of Nursing. My name is Nancy York and I am the Undergraduate Program Coordinator. The School of Nursing mission is to educate and develop nursing leaders who will collaborate with patients, families, communities, and health professionals to advance the health and welfare of the public. Our faculty is committed to assist students in becoming competent and caring professionals and healthcare leaders.

We have an exciting undergraduate nursing program which has patient centered care at the core of our curriculum. Our program is intense and demanding. After completion of all prerequisite courses, the nursing courses are offered in four consecutive semesters, each 15 weeks in length. The BS Degree in Nursing will prepare you for entry level nursing practice, as well as future graduate study.

Our program is accredited by the National League for Nursing and is directed by the highest nursing education standards. I encourage you to navigate through our website and learn more about our program and faculty.
